Driving has become something of a hassle for many people. Many drivers on the road are inconsiderate of traffic rules and requirements and make driving miserable an unenjoyable for everyone else on the road. Fortunately, there is a way to make driving easier and more enjoyable and perhaps even change the way people drive one driver at a time.
Consideration on the road goes a long way. When traffic is heavy and you need to merge lanes to exit the highway, it is frustrating when no one will let you in. However, when that one considerate driver stops and waves you on it makes you feel good and maybe even prompts you to do the same, which starts a chain effect of consideration on the road.
When someone provides you a consideration on the road, the proper thing to do is to offer them a friendly wave. Additionally, if every car lets one in front of them in heavy traffic then traffic will pick up and run much more smoothly. Consideration on the road is something few people have, but those that do often inspire others to do something considerate on the road. If everyone did that, driving would be so much more pleasant.
